Our newly refurbished Lakeside Suite is the perfect setting for the wedding you’ve always dreamed of. With its dedicated terrace overlooking the lake and gardens, this private suite provides an idyllic back drop for your special day, be it a sunny summer afternoon or snowy winter scene.
The Lakeside Suite epitomizes all that Seckford Hall is. It has authentic character with modern touches and a stylish and elegant décor to give that classic touch to your wedding day. As well as exclusive outdoor space, the Lakeside Suite also has its own bar amenities, private toilets and a cloakroom. With a sliding partition and elegant curtains, the Lakeside Suite is versatile and can be fine-tuned to suit you individual requirements and desired layout. A built-in sound system allows you to have the perfect sound track to complement your celebrations, as well as use of a microphone so that no one misses the best man’s speech! A string quartet or guitar player also sounds beautiful, taking advantage of the wonderful acoustics provided by our magnificent high ceilings.
For parties over 140 guests we can arrange a marquee, which adjoins the Lakeside Suite and has feature window walls.
Not only do we have a stunning venue but we can also offer 32 beautifully decorated rooms that have been created to fir with the charm of our Tudor building. As well as this we have a very creative 2 AA rosette kitchen team who will be dedicated to you on your wedding day ensuring all your food needs are met to the highest standard.
Seckford Hall is set in the heart of Suffolk’s Constable country, but with easy access to major road links and a gateway to many picturesque towns and villages. The hotel is just seven miles north of Ipswich via the A12, and it nestles in a hollow to the west of Woodbridge by-pass. Guests should follow the by-pass until they see the distinctive Seckford Hall hotel sign.

If travelling from the south on the A12 towards Ipswich, turn right onto the A14 at junction 33. Travel towards Felixstowe (east) and leave the A14 at junction 58, turning north on the A12 sign posted Lowestoft. Follow signs to Woodbridge at 5th roundabout and take the first left – approximately 200m.
Take the main line train to Ipswich from London Liverpool St every half hour. Change at Ipswich for the branch line to Lowestoft and Woodbridge.
